Annotation. The high share of goods in international trade and India’s active involvement in international trade and economic relations make the study relevant. The methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of India’s key foreign trade indicators over a long period (dynamics of exports, imports, foreign trade turnover, and changes in the foreign trade balance), a structural and dynamic analysis of statistical data on foreign trade flows, and a synthesis of the results. The article systematizes the dominant factors in assessing the effectiveness of foreign trade activities of Indian enterprises in the goods market. Based on the assessment of the volume, structure, performance, and efficiency of India’s foreign trade in goods, the authors have developed forecast scenarios for increasing the efficiency of the country’s enterprises foreign trade activities in the goods market under the conditions of multipolarity (basic, optimistic, and pessimistic).
